We are seeking an experienced AI Operations Strategist to help shape enterprise AI operations strategy within a large-scale Digital Transformation organization.

This is a strategic advisory role focused on defining the target state, operating model, governance frameworks, roadmaps, and value measures required to scale reliable, observable, cost-effective AI operations across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise strategy and roadmaps for AIOps, AI observability, AI FinOps, and operational governance
• Establish AI operations frameworks, standards, KPIs/KRIs, maturity models, and operational-readiness criteria
• Develop strategies for AI reliability, telemetry, cost optimization, service management, and value realization
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, SRE, MLOps, ITSM, Finance, and platform teams
• Evaluate technology capabilities and recommend target-state solutions and strategic investments
• Translate operational, financial, and technology insights into executive-level recommendations
• Drive cross-functional alignment around AI operations strategy, governance, roadmaps, and business value

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in enterprise technology strategy, IT operations transformation, AIOps, SRE, cloud operations, observability, or related areas
• Proven experience developing enterprise strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
• Strong understanding of AI/ML operations, MLOps, observability, telemetry, SRE, ITSM/ITIL, and operational resilience
• Strong knowledge of FinOps, cloud economics, cost optimization, and AI consumption models
• Experience working with enterprise cloud ecosystems such as Azure and/or GCP
• Strong executive communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology, engineering, business, or data discipline

Experience with AI governance, Agentic AI, Responsible AI, enterprise AI platforms, Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, Arize, Azure AI, or GCP Vertex AI is a plus. Utility or energy-sector experience is preferred.
