AI Platform Engineer

Position: AI Platform Engineer – DevOps

Location: Halifax, NS (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an AI Platform Engineer with strong DevOps experience to build and operate enterprise AI/GenAI platforms and modernize DevOps capabilities across Capital Markets.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TypeScript, Python, and Groovy.
• Build scalable AI/GenAI, LLMOps, and MLOps platforms.
• Build reusable services for RAG, prompt management, vector search, AI gateways, inference APIs, and agentic AI.
• Implement model deployment, monitoring, versioning, evaluation, and governance.
• Enable application teams through DevOps coaching and developer-experience best practices.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies through POCs and drive automation and platform improvements.

Required Skills:

• Strong SDLC, system design, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years of software development experience with Python, Java, JavaScript/Typescript, C#, or C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and production-grade application delivery.
• Experience building/supporting AI/GenAI or distributed platforms.

Nice to Have:

• AWS/Azure experience.
• Elastic search/Kibana .
• GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Urban Code Deploy.
• Experience with distributed applications and enterprise DevOps platforms.
