About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery, adoption and implementation of AI solutions across the organisation. The role requires a strong combination of AI technical expertise, hands-on project delivery, strategic thinking and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will lead AI initiatives from ideation and use-case identification through solution design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement, delivering practical AI solutions that address real-world business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI projects from ideation, requirements gathering, and solution design through development, deployment, and optimisation.
• Design, build, and implement hands-on AI solutions that solve real-world business and operational challenges.
• Lead projects involving Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Machine Learning, APIs, and cloud-based AI platforms.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritise AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, scalability, and risk.
• Develop and implement AI prototypes, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), MVPs, and production-ready solutions.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI architectures, solutions, and implementation roadmaps.
• Work closely with engineering, data, product, business, security, and other stakeholders to deliver AI initiatives successfully.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, models, and platforms and apply them to relevant real-world use cases.
• Establish best practices for AI development, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Implement appropriate AI governance, Responsible AI, security, risk, and compliance practices.
• Drive the adoption and scaling of successful AI solutions across the organisation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams working on AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in AI, technology, data, software engineering, digital transformation, or related fields.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end AI projects and real-world AI implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI Agents, Machine Learning, APIs, and AI platforms.
• Experience taking AI solutions from PoC/prototype through production deployment.
• Strong understanding of AI architecture, model evaluation, integration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, security, risk, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical delivery with strategic leadership.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, particularly cloud-based AI/ML services.

• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, APIs, and existing technology ecosystems.
