AI product Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager (AI PM) to lead the product lifecycle for AI-powered solutions. You will work closely with engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, translate user needs into actionable requirements, and ensure successful delivery and adoption of AI products.

Key responsibilities

• Define product goals, roadmap, and success metrics for AI features/products
• Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape for AI solutions
• Translate user problems into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with engineering/ML teams to scope MVPs and iterative releases
• Own prioritization and trade-offs across performance, cost, latency, safety, and user experience
• Partner with data science and ML engineering to understand model capabilities, limitations, and evaluation approaches
• Drive experimentation/validation plans (offline/online evaluation, A/B tests, pilot programs)
• Ensure data requirements and feedback loops are defined and operationalized
• Work with marketing, sales, and customer success on positioning, launch plans, documentation, and enablement
• Gather voice-of-customer feedback post-launch and iterate based on usage analytics

About you

• 3+ years of product management experience, with at least 1+ years focused on AI/ML-related products (LLM, recommendation, NLP, computer vision, search/ranking, automation, etc.)
• Strong ability to define problem statements, user journeys, PRDs, and measurable outcomes
• Proven track record delivering products from concept to launch
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and evaluation (metrics, robustness, latency/cost considerations)
• Experience working with LLM-based or data-driven systems
• Comfort reading and discussing model behavior, quality metrics, and experiment results
• Familiarity with basic data/ML concepts such as datasets, training/inference pipeline, and model evaluation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional partners
• Experience with AI safety, governance, and compliance processes
• Background in one of the following: data science, software engineering, HCI, or related technical fields
