AI Software Architect

CMC is looking for a Senior Multi-Agent AI Software Architect to join a client in the Greater Copenhagen Region. This is a fixed-term consultant assignment.

You will operate either as an independent freelance consultant or as an employed consultant through CMC.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced software architect with strong hands-on multi-agent AI experience for a consultant assignment in the Greater Copenhagen region. The role covers designing clean, modular architecture for a new system while maintaining a legacy platform, and mentoring a small team in AI-assisted development and multi-agent AI. Experience from regulated medical device or healthcare software environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and build clean, modular architecture for a new system alongside an existing legacy platform.
• Apply multi-agent AI to software development and architecture, including AI-assisted development and code review.
• Mentor and upskill a small engineering team in multi-agent AI and clean architecture.
• Work closely with the client’s software architect and stakeholders to clarify requirements and scope.
• Support the transition from legacy software to the new architecture without disrupting existing users.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience building multi-agent AI systems.
• Strong background in clean architecture, modular design, and software modernisation.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development and AI code review.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience from medical, pharma, or other regulated industries is beneficial.
