AI Software Engineer

AI-First Software Engineer | 100% remote (Brazil) | PJ (Long-Term)

About the Role

We are seeking an AI-First Software Engineer to build next-generation cloud products using AI coding agents such as Claude Code as a primary development tool.

You'll work across Java/Spring Boot, React, and AWS , taking ownership of features from design through production. This role is ideal for an engineer who can work independently, navigate ambiguous requirements, and use AI agents to accelerate development while maintaining high engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Use AI coding agents to design, build, test, and ship production features.
• Develop across Java/Spring Boot, React, and AWS .
• Work independently in unfamiliar codebases and ambiguous environments.
• Research requirements and gather context without relying on detailed specifications.
• Review and validate AI-generated code and maintain production quality.
• Orchestrate multiple AI agents to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate within a small, cross-functional engineering team.

Requirements

• Current, hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or similar.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Backend: Java/Spring Boot or equivalent.
• Frontend: React or equivalent.
• Cloud: AWS or equivalent.
• Experience with testing and CI/CD .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable learning unfamiliar codebases and working across the stack.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have: Playwright, Vitest, GitLab CI, and experience testing or building LLM/AI-powered features.
