As an AI Software Engineer focusing on Document Intelligence, Agents, and Reasoning at Sails Software Inc, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI solutions that enhance the understanding and processing of documents. Your role will involve working on projects that leverage natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), and reasoning capabilities to develop intelligent agents that can extract meaningful insights from unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop algorithms for document analysis, including text extraction, classification, and summarization. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define requirements for AI-driven solutions. 
• Implement machine learning models and deploy them in production environments. 
• Optimize existing models for improved performance and scalability. 
• Conduct research on the latest advancements in AI technologies and apply relevant techniques to enhance product capabilities. 
• Build and maintain documentation for AI solutions, ensuring clarity and accessibility for future development. 
• Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

 

Skills and Tools Required: 

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages. 
• Proficiency in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. 
• Experience with natural language processing frameworks like NLTK, SpaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for model deployment. 
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. 
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
