About the role

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer specialized in front-end development to join our experimentation team.

Your main mission will be to develop, QA and maintain high-quality A/B tests and personalization campaigns for leading international e-commerce brands using platforms such as Kameleoon, AB Tasty, Optimizely, and similar experimentation tools.

This is a highly technical role requiring excellent JavaScript skills and a deep understanding of the browser, the DOM, CSS, and front-end performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop A/B tests and personalization experiences using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Manipulate complex DOM structures to create seamless user experiences.
• Reverse engineer existing websites to identify the best implementation approach.
• Ensure experiments are robust across browsers and devices.
• Debug production issues quickly and efficiently.
• Work closely with CRO consultants, designers and analysts to turn hypotheses into production-ready experiments.
• Write clean, modular and maintainable code.
• Perform QA before launch and monitor experiments after deployment.
• Optimize code performance to minimize impact on page speed.
• Document implementations and contribute to internal best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional JavaScript development experience.
• Strong expertise in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
• Advanced knowledge of DOM manipulation.
• Excellent understanding of HTML5 and modern CSS.
• Strong debugging skills using Chrome DevTools.
• Ability to read and understand unfamiliar front-end codebases.
• Experience handling asynchronous content, SPAs and dynamic rendering.
• Knowledge of browser events, event delegation, mutation observers and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kameleoon, AB Tasty, Optimizely, VWO, Dynamic Yield or similar experimentation platforms.
• Experience developing client-side personalization.
• Knowledge of React, Vue or Angular internals.
• Experience with e-commerce websites.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, GTM or Contentsquare.
• Understanding of experimentation methodology and A/B testing.
