GRSee is building an internal AI capability focused on turning practical business needs into working AI-enabled solutions. We are looking for a hands-on AI Solutions Engineer who enjoys learning, experimenting, building and taking solutions from initial investigation through production use.

Role Overview

The AI Solutions Engineer will work closely with the CAIO to investigate business problems, evaluate available technologies, prototype solutions, and implement them in real environments.

The role combines software engineering, AI, automation, system integration, practical technical research and lightweight product / requirements ownership. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new tools quickly, structuring an open-ended problem, and choosing the most appropriate approach for each problem.

Projects may range from a focused internal Utility or workflow automation to an AI-enabled integration or a larger internal application.

What You Will Do

· Investigate business problems, clarify requirements with stakeholders, and identify practical AI, automation or software solutions.

· Research unfamiliar technologies, APIs, platforms and tools independently.

· Build prototypes and Proofs of Concept, define a practical path to implementation, and convert successful concepts into usable internal or client-facing solutions.

· Develop internal Utilities, integrations and AI-enabled applications.

· Work with AI APIs and platforms such as OpenAI, Claude and similar services.

· Develop in .NET / C# or Python, depending on the problem and solution fit.

· Integrate with business systems, APIs, databases and SaaS platforms.

· Use automation platforms such as n8n and others when they provide a faster or more appropriate path than custom development.

· Build or adapt WordPress plugins, scripts or lightweight tools when required.

· Build or adapt CRM / Monday MCP Servers, plugins, scripts or lightweight tools when required.

· Test solutions in Lab / Dev / QA environments and support deployment into production.

· Troubleshoot issues across application, API, integration and deployment layers.

· Work with the CAIO and relevant business stakeholders on solution design, requirements, priorities and architecture decisions.

· Document requirements, key decisions and implemented solutions sufficiently for handover, support, maintenance and future development.

· Continuously explore new AI capabilities that may create practical value for GRSee.

Technical Skills

Practical software development experience is required. Strong capability in at least one modern development language is expected; experience with the following is particularly relevant:

· C# / .NET - preferred for GRSee internal development

· Python - highly relevant and a strong alternative / complement; TypeScript / JavaScript experience may also be relevant for AI-enabled applications and integrations

Experience with several of the following is desirable:

· REST APIs, JSON and HTTP-based integrations

· Databases and SQL

· Backend services and lightweight web applications

· Authentication and authorization concepts

· Git / source control

· Debugging, logging and error handling

· Third-party APIs and SaaS integrations

· Basic frontend or web development

· Deployment and environment configuration

AI, Automation and Integration

Hands-on experience and active experimentation with modern AI systems is important for this role. Relevant exposure may include:

· OpenAI, Claude or other major LLM platforms

· AI APIs, prompt design and structured outputs

· AI-assisted software development

· Agent or workflow automation patterns

· Document processing, extraction, classification or generation

· Model selection, token usage and AI reliability considerations

· Automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate or similar tools

· WordPress, CRM, Monday or other business-system integrations

Deployment and Infrastructure

This is not a dedicated DevOps role. The engineer should be comfortable taking a solution beyond local development and helping bring it into actual use, but deep experience across every infrastructure area below is not expected.

· Windows Server / IIS or Linux environments

· Docker or virtual machines

· Cloud services and basic infrastructure concepts

· Internal networking and VPN-based applications

· DNS, SSL / certificates and environment configuration

· Basic CI/CD concepts

· Secrets management and secure configuration

Security Awareness

· Protect API keys, credentials and service secrets.

· Apply least-privilege access when integrating with company systems.

· Understand the difference between public, internal, confidential and sensitive data.

· Use appropriate authentication, authorization, logging and audit controls when required.

· Respect separation between development, QA and production environments.

What Makes a Strong Candidate

A strong candidate may come from a software development, full-stack, backend, automation, solutions engineering, product engineering or AI engineering background. We care more about demonstrated ability to learn, structure problems, build and deliver than about a specific previous title.

A candidate does not need to have used every technology listed above. We are particularly interested in people who can demonstrate how they approached an unfamiliar problem, learned what was needed, and delivered a working solution.

Experience Level

Approximately 2-4 years of practical software-development experience is preferred, but demonstrated capability, curiosity and ownership are more important than years of experience.

This is a remote role. The candidate should be able to work primarily during European business hours and maintain strong working overlap with the CAIO.
