AI Specialist

DOODEX is a leading IT firm specializing in Odoo ERP System. We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients worldwide. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking talented and dynamic individuals to join our team as Bilingual Business Analysts.

Mission:

Design, build, test, and continuously improve AI agents that work on top of Odoo for Doodex and our clients.

You will be the bridge between Odoo and AI, with your primary focus on AI. You will translate real business needs across sales, marketing, project management, and support into reliable AI agents that can work with real Odoo data. You will also help keep Doodex ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape by evaluating new AI models, tools, and technologies and recommending solutions that can create real business value.

1. Build AI Agents

• Design and develop AI agents that can read and write Odoo data, including CRM, Sales, Project, Knowledge, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
• Integrate agents with Odoo through XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, REST APIs, or other appropriate interfaces.
• Design prompts, tools, skills, and agent workflows using technologies such as n8n, Claude, MCP servers, and other agent frameworks.
• Connect AI agents with the systems used by Doodex and its clients, including Odoo, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, and web services.
• Build solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and practical for real-world business use.

2. Test, Evaluate, and Optimize Agents

• Create test cases and evaluate every AI agent against realistic business scenarios before deployment.
• Measure quality, accuracy, speed, reliability, and cost instead of relying on assumptions.
• Identify and fix errors, hallucinations, inconsistent outputs, and workflow failures.
• Monitor agents in production and continuously improve their performance.
• Establish evaluation methods and benchmarks to track agent quality over time.

3. Deploy and Run Local AI

• Deploy and manage open-source AI models on Doodex infrastructure using technologies such as Ollama, vLLM, or llama.cpp.
• Evaluate and select the appropriate model for each use case, balancing quality, cost, speed, and data privacy.
• Understand basic GPU requirements and optimize local model deployment where necessary.
• Build and maintain local RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for searching and working with internal documents and Odoo data.

4. Technology Watch

• Follow new AI models, agent frameworks, developer tools, and AI technologies on a regular basis.
• Evaluate which developments are relevant to Doodex and its clients.

Prepare a short monthly update for the team covering:

• What is new
• What is relevant to Doodex
• What we should consider adopting
• Potential business opportunities

5. Propose and Develop New AI Solutions

• Identify repetitive or time-consuming tasks at Doodex and client organizations that could be automated with AI.
• Build quick prototypes to validate ideas before investing in full development.
• Present proposed solutions with a clear business case, expected benefits, and implementation approach.
• Document each AI agent and solution so other team members can understand, use, and maintain it.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of hands-on experience working with LLMs and AI agents, preferably with projects that have been deployed or used in production.
2. Strong Python programming skills.
3. Comfortable working with REST/JSON APIs and Linux servers.
4. Practical experience with at least one major LLM API, such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini.
5. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool use, RAG, and AI agent workflows.
6. Experience running open-source AI models locally using Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, or similar technologies.
7. Basic understanding of GPU infrastructure and model deployment.
8. Basic knowledge of Odoo, or strong willingness and ability to learn Odoo quickly, including its data model, ORM, and XML-RPC/JSON-RPC interfaces.
9. A strong testing and evaluation mindset — you measure results rather than simply assuming an AI solution works.
10. Good written English and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
11. Curious, self-driven, and genuinely interested in following developments in AI.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Odoo development, including Python modules and Odoo 17+.
• Experience with n8n, Make, or similar automation platforms.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Claude Code, or AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with vector databases such as pgvector or Qdrant.
• Experience with fine-tuning, model evaluation, or working with small/local models.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with business applications or ERP systems.
