AI Systems / Software Engineer (Fully Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build End-to-End Features: Deliver full-stack AI features across Next.js frontends, Python/Node.js backends, and AI integrations.
• Design Agent Workflows: Build resilient multi-step agent systems that handle planning, tool use, persistent memory, failure, and recovery.
• Engineer Real-Time UX: Design streaming interfaces with partial results and tight latency constraints to keep interactions fast and responsive.
• Improve System Reliability: Implement robust fallback mechanisms, error handling, and observability to manage non-deterministic model behavior.
• Ship & Iterate: Collaborate across ML, backend, and product teams to refine features based on production failure modes and real user behavior.

Key Requirements:

• Full-Stack Expertise: Strong experience building modern web applications with frontend (Next.js/React) and backend (Python, Node.js) frameworks.
• AI & LLM Integration: Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source), RAG systems, or agentic frameworks into production applications.
• System Design & Databases: Solid foundation in API design, streaming patterns, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• DevOps Basics: Experience running containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
