AI Technical Product Manager (Remote)

About the Role

We're building a proactive AI assistant that helps users manage conversations, tasks, workflows, and daily errands with minimal prompting. Our mission is to make AI truly useful by delivering reliable, context-aware, and autonomous task execution that saves users significant time every day.

This is a highly technical product role focused on turning AI capabilities into dependable real-world experiences. You'll work at the intersection of user needs, AI models, and system design, partnering closely with engineering teams to build trusted, scalable AI products.

What You'll Do

• Define end-to-end AI product and system requirements, from model capabilities to user outcomes.
• Translate model behavior, data constraints, and evaluation results into product decisions.
• Drive trade-offs across quality, latency, cost, reliability, and user experience.
• Partner with ML, backend, and mobile engineers on system design, evaluation, and iteration.
• Build and evolve evaluation frameworks using offline metrics, online experiments, and user feedback.
• Lead execution through clear specifications, prioritization, and strong product judgment.
• Ensure systems launch quickly, safely, and reliably with effective feedback loops.
• Own product quality end-to-end, including correctness, predictability, and user trust.

What You'll Bring

Technical Foundation

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, system design, algorithms, and data structures.
• Familiarity with ML concepts and the behavior of production AI systems.
• Ability to review and contribute to technical design discussions.

AI & Product Expertise

• Experience building or managing AI-powered products, particularly LLM-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with model evaluation, prompt engineering, and iteration workflows.
• Strong understanding of hallucinations, bias, drift, and AI system limitations.

Product Leadership

• Proven track record of owning complex technical products end-to-end.
• Experience working closely with senior engineers and ML teams.
• Excellent judgment in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
• Ability to balance product ambition with technical and operational constraints.

Nice to Have

• Experience shipping AI-first consumer products.
• Engineering background or highly technical PM experience.
• Experience designing ML/LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Strong intuition for AI UX and failure-handling patterns.
• Experience building zero-to-one products.
