AI Technical Program Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and delivering projects involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Studio solutions.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong project management capabilities, technical understanding of AI solutions, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams while ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the complete lifecycle of GenAI projects from Proof of Concept (PoC) through production deployment.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
• Drive large-scale implementations, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

AI & Technology Delivery

• Oversee the development and deployment of:
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
• LLM-powered assistants and AI applications
• Agentic AI workflows
• Microsoft 365 Copilot implementations
• Custom Copilot Studio agents
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and AI engineers to deliver scalable solutions on Azure.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Manage GenAI-specific risks such as:
• Hallucination mitigation
• Data privacy and security
• PII masking
• Responsible AI and compliance requirements
• Ensure adherence to organizational AI governance standards and best practices.

Stakeholder & Program Management

• Lead communication across business, technical, client, vendor, and offshore teams.
• Conduct project governance reviews and leadership updates.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Track schedule, cost, and delivery variances across programs.
• Identify, monitor, and drive closure of risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
