AI Training Specialist

AKR Growth is looking for an experienced AI Training Specialist to join our growing Apprenticeship team. You will deliver high-quality training across our AI and digital apprenticeship programmes, helping learners and employers develop practical Microsoft 365, Copilot and AI skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver teaching, learning and assessment across AI and digital apprenticeship programmes.
• Train learners in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI-driven workplace solutions.
• Create engaging learning materials, workshops and practical activities.
• Support learners with onboarding, progression and End Point Assessment preparation.
• Monitor learner progress and provide coaching and feedback.
• Support employers with AI adoption, workflow optimisation and automation.
• Promote responsible AI use, including data protection, ethics and governance.
• Maintain accurate learner records and meet apprenticeship and Ofsted requirements.
• Work with employers and internal teams to continuously improve programme delivery.
• Keep up to date with developments in AI, Microsoft technologies and automation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Level 5 qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience delivering training, ideally within apprenticeships or workforce development.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot.
• Excellent communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting learners to achieve structured outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution-focused approach.

Desirable:

• Experience with AI/digital apprenticeships.
• Knowledge of Copilot Studio, Power Platform, prompt engineering or automation.
• Teaching/training qualification such as AET, CET or DET.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Role Requirements:

• UK-based with the ability to travel when required.
• Remote role with attendance at the Tyne & Wear office once a month.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
