A leading Scandinavian financial services organisation is looking for an experienced AI Lead to join a growing AI Platform team responsible for enabling more than 100 developers across the business to build and operate AI-powered applications safely, effectively, and at scale.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building the foundations, tooling, governance frameworks, and infrastructure required to accelerate AI adoption across the organisation. You'll play a key role in shaping long-term AI strategy while delivering practical solutions that support millions of customers across multiple markets.

You'll join a dedicated AI platform function working on some of the most exciting areas of modern AI engineering, including:

• Enterprise AI platforms
• Agentic AI systems
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI governance and guardrails
• Evaluation and benchmarking frameworks
• Internal AI developer platforms
• Customer service automation
• Voice AI solutions
• Production AI operations

The objective is simple: create secure, scalable AI foundations that allow engineering teams across the business to build AI-powered products with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

AI Platform & Infrastructure

• Define and implement the enterprise AI platform strategy
• Build reusable AI tooling, frameworks, and infrastructure
• Establish standards for deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
• Create AI-focused CI/CD processes and platform capabilities
• Support engineering teams adopting AI technologies across the organisation

Agentic AI Systems

• Design and implement agent-based architectures
• Build multi-agent workflows and orchestration frameworks
• Define governance and safety patterns for enterprise AI agents
• Manage tool access, permissions, and operational controls

RAG & Knowledge Systems

• Design enterprise-scale retrieval architectures
• Implement grounding and context-management strategies
• Build vector search and knowledge retrieval solutions
• Improve answer quality, reliability, and factual consistency

AI Evaluation & Governance

• Create AI evaluation frameworks and quality metrics
• Define testing, benchmarking, and validation methodologies
• Build guardrails and risk management controls
• Implement monitoring and observability standards for AI systems

Customer Service & Voice AI

• Support AI-driven customer service initiatives
• Contribute to conversational AI and voice solutions
• Help scale AI-powered customer operations across multiple regions

Essential Experience

• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI solutions
• Strong expertise working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience moving AI projects beyond proof-of-concept into production environments
• Deep understanding of RAG architectures and retrieval systems
• Experience implementing grounding strategies and reducing hallucinations
• Agent orchestration and agentic workflow design experience
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Cloud-native architecture experience
• Experience designing APIs and distributed systems
• Experience defining AI governance, monitoring, or evaluation frameworks
