About TalentXM

Welcome to TalentXM (formerly BlockTXM). We are a forward-thinking, globally distributed team dedicated to innovating in our space. We believe in empowering our team with the best traditional creative tools alongside cutting-edge technology to drive our brand forward. We are looking for passionate, creative students to join our global network and help us tell our story through video.

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Video Editor Intern to join our creative team. This is a hands-on internship designed for students who want to build their video portfolio and gain real-world experience.

You will be trained on industry-standard paid tools, collaborate in real time with talented team members across the globe, and learn how to integrate AI into traditional video editing workflows. At the end of the internship, you will receive a certificate of completion, along with detailed LinkedIn recommendations and professional references based on your performance, to give you a competitive edge in your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, internal communications, and marketing campaigns, including reels, promos, interviews, and event highlights.
• Short-Form Content: Create engaging vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn) with strong hooks, pacing, captions, and on-screen text optimized for each platform.
• Post-Production: Handle cutting, color correction, audio cleanup, sound design, music selection, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
• AI Tool Integration (Emphasized): Learn to use premium AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to brainstorm concepts, write scripts, generate captions and subtitles, and speed up your editing workflow. We will teach you how to make AI your ultimate creative assistant.
• Global Collaboration: Participate in real-time creative brainstorming sessions and project sprints with team members in different time zones.
• Asset Management: Help organize and maintain our library of raw footage, video templates, and project files.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• Student Status: Currently enrolled in a related degree program (e.g., Film/Media Studies, Communications, Digital Media) or a self-taught student actively building a video portfolio.
• Core Skills: Foundational knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut). Experience with After Effects or motion graphics is a plus.
• Storytelling Eye: You understand pacing, rhythm, and how to keep viewers watching until the last second.
• Tech-Curious: You don't need to be an AI expert, but you must be excited to learn how to incorporate AI into your creative process.
• Passion for Travel: You love travel, culture, and new places, and it shows in the stories you tell on video.
• Self-Starter: Proactive, organized, and able to manage your time effectively in a remote environment to meet the 15–20 hours/week commitment.

What We Offer (The Perks)

• Premium Tech Stack: Full access to paid industry-standard editing tools and advanced AI LLMs for the duration of your internship.
• Global Networking: Real-time collaboration with a diverse, international team.
• Certification & Recommendations: A certificate of completion at the end of the internship, along with detailed LinkedIn recommendations and professional references based on your performance.
• Portfolio Building: Tangible, high-quality video projects you can proudly showcase in your professional portfolio.
