Job Type: Fixed-ECCE term until July 16th 2027.
Pay: €17.00 per hour.
Hours: 15 hours per week.

Fountain Resource Group Wee Tots Creche and Pre-School are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) Support Worker to join our Early Childhood team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion and supporting young children to reach their full potential. As an AIM Support Worker, you will play an important role in creating an inclusive, supportive and nurturing early learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate.

Working as part of the AIM team, you will support children with additional needs to access and engage fully in the ECCE programme. You will work closely with early years educators, families and other professionals to recognise each child’s strengths, interests and individual needs.

Key Responsibilities;

• Support children’s participation, wellbeing and development within the early years environment.
• Promote inclusion, independence and positive relationships through play-based learning.
• Provide child-centred support to children requiring additional assistance.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and social development.
• Work collaboratively with educators, families and external professionals.
• Assist with observations, planning and individual support strategies.
• Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming and accessible learning environment.

Requirements

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 or Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent).
• Experience working in an Early Learning and Care setting.
• Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
• Understanding of inclusive, child-centred practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient and positive approach when supporting children.
