Role Description

We're hiring an AI/ML Engineer to join the Applied AI Solutions team of a global energy technology group, building production-ready AI that automates and enhances digital finance operations.

This role takes AI from prototype to production, applying machine learning, LLMs and agents to real finance problems across an enterprise-scale platform.

What You'll Do

• Build AI solutions for finance use cases such as forecasting, anomaly detection and document classification
• Prototype, train, validate and test models using data pipelines and cloud platform tools
• Embed AI into automation workflows and digital finance platforms via microservices and APIs
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and MVP development cycles
• Evaluate and improve model accuracy, scalability and compliance with security, privacy and audit standards
• Design reusable components and mentor junior engineers

What We're Looking For

• Essential: hands-on commercial experience with both AWS and Snowflake
• Proven track record taking AI/ML automation solutions into production in an applied business context
• Strong Python skills and experience with associated AI frameworks
• Experience with finance-relevant solutions such as time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, categorisation or agent building
• Excellent communicator, comfortable with senior business stakeholders and engineers alike
• Fluent in written and spoken English
