AI/ML Engineer

Azure GenAI & AI/ML Engineer :
to help scale an existing AI-powered contract review solution to support more contract types and variations. The role focuses on improving AI behavior and application logic within the existing design—not building data pipelines or a software platform.

Responsibilities

Investigate how the current solution handles new contract types, layouts, clauses, and data variations, and identify gaps.

Implement targeted improvements in the existing Python application, including prompt and model configuration, extraction behavior, and validation or business rules.

Prepare representative labelled examples and evaluate results, including missed or incorrect extractions and regressions in existing contract coverage.

Use evaluation findings and domain feedback to improve AI features and maintain reliable results across supported contracts.

Adapt existing integrations with Azure AI services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, and Jira as needed.

Document changes and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate outcomes.

Experience and skills

Intermediate Python development skills, including experience modifying an existing application to deliver business functionality.

Practical experience developing GenAI or AI/ML features, including prompt design, model integration, and systematic evaluation.

Ability to investigate AI failure cases and improve results using appropriate methods—not relying on prompt changes alone.

Familiarity with Azure services and APIs. Experience with document extraction, contracts, or variable business documents is an advantage.

Experience with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, or Jira is beneficial
