Job Title**:** Air Check Technician FLSA Status: hourly

Job Responsibilities - Air Check Technician is responsible for air checks in assigned yards. (Position does not change tires or do tire work)

• Air Checks include –
  • checking air and airing up tires
  • tread depth
  • reporting on tire condition in system
• Cleaning and organizing the store’s warehouse as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications – required

• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS

Physical Demands:

• Standing: 80% | Walking: 70% | Sitting: 5%
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces
• Frequent lifting/carrying: up to 50 lbs
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping and dexterity
• Constant visual, auditory, and verbal communication required

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditions
• Occasional work in extreme heat/cold or wet/humid environments
• Occasional hazards due to mechanical equipment and moving objects

Equipment Operated:

• Company-provided software and system for work orders and inventory
• Required to use protective gear (PPE)
