Air Conditioning Engineer

RBHM Heating & Cooling is a growing heating and air conditioning company serving Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire, focused on quality, reliability and customer care.

Established in 2014 and based at Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot, we are continuing to expand and are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our installation team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail and delivers a neat, professional installation. You will mainly install split and multi split air conditioning systems in domestic properties, usually working in a team of two. The role will also include occasional servicing.

You will be supported by our engineers and office team, with surveys and materials prepared in advance for each installation.

Main responsibilities

• Install and commission split and multi split air conditioning systems in domestic homes.
• Install indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage and trunking to a high standard.
• Carry out pressure testing, evacuation and commissioning in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Work closely with your teammate to complete installations efficiently and professionally.
• Carry out occasional servicing and identify faults or maintenance requirements.
• Keep customers informed and explain how to operate their new system.
• Maintain accurate job records, commissioning details and photographs through our Commusoft system.
• Keep work areas tidy and treat customers’ homes with care and respect.

To be considered for this role, you must have

• A relevant F Gas qualification.
• Proven experience installing split and multi split air conditioning systems.
• The ability to produce neat pipework, trunking and well finished installations.
• A good understanding of commissioning procedures and safe working practices.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A reliable, practical approach and the ability to work well in a team.
• A commitment to excellent customer service and high standards of workmanship.
