Working Pattern: Nights Sunday - Thursday
Rate: Negotiable, dependent on experience

The Opportunity

We are recruiting experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineers to support installation projects across London Underground stations and depots.

We are looking for engineers with strong hands-on experience installing commercial air conditioning systems, who can work independently or as part of a team to deliver installations safely and to a high standard.

This is a project installation position rather than a maintenance or servicing role.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new air conditioning units across London Underground stations and depots.
• Carry out installation of split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems where required.
• Install refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage and associated components.
• Complete first and second fix installation works.
• Install indoor and outdoor AC units, including mounting brackets and supports.
• Carry out pressure testing, leak testing and commissioning activities within relevant qualifications and authorisations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
• Work alongside other engineers and contractors to complete projects.
• Ensure installations comply with relevant health and safety requirements, risk assessments and method statements.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
• Must have FGAS as a minimum.
• Strong hands-on experience installing commercial air conditioning units.
• Experience with split systems, VRF/VRV systems and associated pipework.
• Good understanding of refrigeration pipework installation and system commissioning.
• Relevant air conditioning / refrigeration qualifications.
• F-Gas certification for applicable refrigerant work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous TfL / London Underground experience and Sentinel ICI are advantageous.
