Air Conditioning Welder

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Air Conditioning Welder to assist with the fabrication, welding, installation, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC components. The ideal candidate should have basic welding knowledge, good technical skills, and the ability to follow safety procedures and technical specifications in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work on air conditioning and HVAC components, piping, brackets, and metal structures.
• Assist with the installation, assembly, and repair of air conditioning system components.
• Carry out welding tasks according to technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces and materials before welding.
• Inspect welded joints and fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Assist with cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting metal parts as required.
• Identify and report welding defects or issues with fabricated components.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Work closely with technicians and other team members to complete assigned tasks.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM, SKM, or relevant technical qualification in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Previous experience in welding, fabrication, or air conditioning-related work is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and follow work instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work in an industrial environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of up to RM2,800 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
