About Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC)

Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC) provides advanced analytical, technical, and operational solutions supporting critical Department of Defense missions. Our success is built on integrity, trust, innovation, and commitment to our customers.

As a member of the ITC team, you will work alongside military, government, and industry professionals supporting some of the Air Force's most important readiness, force management, operational planning, and resource allocation decisions.

Position Overview

ITC is seeking an experienced Air Force Readiness Data Analyst to support Headquarters Air Force Readiness Division (AF/A33R) at the Pentagon.

The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Air Force Readiness Analysis and Decision Support (AFRADS) team, supporting the development and modernization of readiness decision-support capabilities used by senior Department of the Air Force leaders.

Working closely with the AFRADS Technical Lead, Modeling & Simulation Analyst, and Software Engineering team, this position is responsible for integrating, analyzing, visualizing, and operationalizing readiness data used to support readiness assessments, predictive analytics, force management analysis, executive reporting, and enterprise decision-support applications.

This role serves as a critical member of the AFRADS technical development team, helping transform readiness reporting, personnel, logistics, maintenance, training, deployment, and resourcing data into actionable insights and decision-support products. The position supports the evolution of AFRADS from a traditional readiness reporting capability into a modern enterprise readiness analysis and decision-support platform supporting Air Force senior leaders, the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Congressional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, experience working with large and complex datasets, familiarity with military operations and readiness concepts, and the ability to translate data into meaningful decision-support products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze readiness, force management, personnel, logistics, maintenance, training, deployment, flying hour, and resource data supporting AFRADS decision-support capabilities.
  • Integrate data from multiple authoritative Air Force and Department of Defense data sources.
  • Develop and maintain analytical datasets supporting readiness assessments, predictive analytics, and decision-support applications.
  • Partner with the Modeling & Simulation Analyst to prepare, validate, and structure data supporting readiness forecasting models.
  • Collaborate with software engineering personnel to support dashboard development, application functionality, automation efforts, and data integration activities.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and executive briefing products supporting Air Force senior leaders.
  • Support readiness assessments within the context of AFFORGEN, Global Force Management, operational planning, contingency support requirements, and enterprise readiness management.
  • Apply data analytics techniques to identify readiness trends, risks, opportunities, and emerging operational issues.
  • Support data quality validation, governance, and traceability of analytical products.
  • Assist with implementation of advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning capabilities supporting AFRADS modernization efforts.
  • Support recurring and short-notice readiness taskings from Headquarters Air Force, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Congressional stakeholders.
  • Produce decision-quality analytical products suitable for General Officer, SES, and senior executive audiences.

Required Qualifications

All qualifications should be clearly reflected within the candidate's resume.

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Military Operations, or a related analytical discipline.

Equivalent combinations of education and directly relevant experience may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting data analytics, readiness assessment, operational analysis, force management analysis, military operations, or related Department of Defense missions.
  • Knowledge of Air Force operations and operational readiness concepts.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple data sources.
  • Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, analytical reports, and decision-support products.
  • Experience using Power BI, SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytical and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility headquarters environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Air Force and Department of Defense readiness-related systems and data environments, including DRRS-S, AFFORGEN, DCAPES, MilPDS, MPES, ENVISION, Vault, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Azure data services, or similar enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting readiness reporting, force management, operational planning, contingency planning, or readiness assessments.
  • Experience supporting application development, dashboard development, or Agile software development teams.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, API-driven data environments, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Experience supporting Air Force, Joint Staff, MAJCOM, Combatant Command, or Headquarters-level organizations.
  • Familiarity with Global Force Management, Air Force readiness reporting, and readiness assessment processes.
  • Experience supporting predictive analytics, machine learning, or decision-support applications.
  • Professional certifications related to analytics, business intelligence, cloud services, data management, or process improvement.
