Air Freight Operations Executive (6 months contract)

Aramex Singapore is seeking an Air Freight Operations Executive (6-Month Contract) to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Air Freight Manager, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day air freight operations and ensuring smooth shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Cargowise alerts for master execution processes, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with operational requirements.

• Work closely with the Air Freight Specialist team and airlines to track booking statuses, proactively addressing any issues or delays.

• Coordinate with airlines to ensure compliance with perishable and dangerous goods (DG) requirements, including arranging temperature-controlled upgrades when necessary to maintain cargo integrity.

• Utilize online booking platforms, including airline websites and carrier portals, to secure bookings accurately and efficiently.

• Prepare Air Waybills (AWB) and Master Air Waybills (MAWB) in accordance with customer requirements, ensuring compliance with destination clearance regulations and documentation standards.

• Generate Letter of Credit (LC) AWBs and supporting documentation for payment processing, ensuring accuracy and completeness to support seamless transactions.

• Follow AWB standing instructions, including requirements for accompanying documents such as Electronic Air Waybill Processing (EAP), to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer preferences.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with CargoWise and airline booking platforms will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• A proactive and collaborative team player.

Working Schedule

• 5.5-day work week
• Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
