Air Pricing Procurement

About the role

DSV Air & Sea Ltd. is seeking an experienced Air Pricing Procurement professional to join our team at our Ladkrabang, Bangkok location on a full-time basis. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, as you will be responsible for managing and optimising air freight pricing and procurement strategies. You will play a key role in securing competitive rates from airlines and consolidators whilst ensuring we maintain strong supplier relationships and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Key responsibilities

1. Negotiation of rates, space allocation and Ad-Hoc costs with carriers and maintain good relationship with carriers.
2. Development and implement new Airfreight products to gain more benefits and profitable for company.
3. Coordinate and improve current rate management for Thailand across all freight forwarding service offering.
4. Coordinate with Airfreight products for both of Inbound & Outbound in case critical operation issue through carriers.
5. Establish, review and maintain SOPs for Airfreight rate management.
6. Execute RFQ/RFP activities for Thailand efficiently and accurately to increase DSV’s win ratio.
7. Assist and support sales rep, business/vertical lead for rate management for a qualify opportunity if required
8. Build a comprehensive rates and achieved-rates depository in line with regional and global guidelines.
9. Assist Superior day-to-day task& enquiries coordinate with Airfreight Export Team for working smoothly

What we're looking for

1. 3-5 years of experience in air freight pricing, procurement, or related roles within the logistics and transportation industry
2. Strong knowledge of air freight operations, including understanding of airline structures, consolidation models, and pricing mechanisms
3. Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive rates whilst maintaining positive supplier relationships
4. Proficiency with pricing and procurement systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to evaluate pricing data and identify cost-saving opportunities
6. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English, with attention to detail
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
8. Experience with freight forwarding systems or logistics management software is preferred
9. Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures would be an advantage
