Air Ticketing Executive

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and self-reliant Air Ticketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the travel industry and be fully proficient in Global Distribution Systems (GDS). You will handle the end-to-end flight booking process completely independently from day one. No training will be provided for GDS systems or core ticketing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent Bookings: Manage global flight reservations, routing, and ticketing autonomously.
• GDS Management: Issue, reissue, revalidate, and void tickets using Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
• Fare Construction: Calculate complex international fares, itineraries, and taxes manually or through automated systems.
• Customer Support: Resolve booking changes, cancellations, schedule disruptions, and refunds efficiently.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications

• IATA Certification
• Experience: Strictly 13 years of proven experience in air ticketing.
• GDS Mastery: Expert working knowledge of at least one major GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).
• Autonomy: Ability to manage workload independently without training or close supervision.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and sharp attention to routing details.
