Angie’s Stays is looking for a dependable and experienced handyman to help maintain our short-term rental properties in the South Lake Tahoe area.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys smaller repair and maintenance projects, communicates well, and is looking for flexible supplemental work. Most assignments involve punch-list items, general maintenance, and minor repairs rather than major construction or remodeling projects.

About the Work

This is an on-call independent contractor position, and weekly hours are not guaranteed. Maintenance projects will be offered as needs arise, and you may accept assignments based on your availability.

Typical projects may include:

• Assembling or disassembling furniture
• Touch-up painting, patching, and masking
• Hanging artwork, shelves, televisions, and fixtures
• Repairing cabinets, chairs, bed frames, and other furniture
• Troubleshooting minor plumbing or toilet issues
• Completing general punch-list and maintenance repairs
• Picking up or transporting materials and supplies when needed
• Addressing minor maintenance issues between guest stays

Having your own tools and a truck or work vehicle is strongly preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of handyman or property maintenance experience
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Able to determine the appropriate tools and materials needed for a project
• Basic plumbing, electrical, or HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable transportation
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to complete projects efficiently and professionally
• Comfortable working independently
• Respectful and professional when working in occupied, vacant, or guest-ready properties
• Reliable and responsive when accepting assignments

Experience Required
