About the role

Radtelcom Technologies Corporation is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our growing team in Davao del Sur, Davao. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our air conditioning and refrigeration systems. As an Air Conditioning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of cooling systems for both commercial and residential clients, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the continued success of our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial clients
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using testing equipment and technical expertise
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing to ensure optimal system performance
• Replace faulty components such as compressors, condeners, evaporators, and refrigerant lines
• Conduct system inspections and provide detailed reports to customers regarding system condition and recommendations
• Test and charge refrigeration systems with appropriate refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests from clients
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service hours
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards whilst performing work
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, solutions, and maintenance requirements

What we're looking for

• Technical qualification or certification in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Minimum of 2–3 years' hands-on experience as an air conditioning or refrigeration technician
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting AC and refrigeration equipment
• Strong knowledge of refrigerants, electrical components, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client locations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
• Knowledge of local and international environmental regulations regarding refrigerants is advantageous
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems would be beneficial
