Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course in HVAC, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC), Electrical Technology, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in air-conditioning installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• TESDA RAC Servicing NC II certification is required; NC III is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including split-type, window-type, inverter, and VRF/VRV units
• Experienced in preventive and corrective maintenance, refrigerant handling, leak detection, and system diagnostics
• Skilled in troubleshooting compressors, motors, thermostats, electrical panels, controls, and related electrical systems
• Familiar with preventive maintenance schedules (PMS), electrical panel inspection, and basic electrical works
• Knowledgeable in occupational safety standards, proper PPE usage, and safe maintenance practices
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a technical team
• Amenable to onsite work and emergency maintenance assignments when necessary

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning, ventilation, and related electrical systems
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, testing, calibration, and system performance checks
• Respond promptly to HVAC-related service requests and Facility Management System (FMS) tickets
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability and efficiency
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment and electrical systems to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment documentation
• Ensure proper handling of tools, materials, refrigerants, and maintenance equipment while following safety protocols
• Support emergency maintenance activities, system breakdowns, and urgent repair requirements
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during major maintenance activities and facility improvement projects
• Recommend replacement parts, materials, and system upgrades based on equipment condition and recurring issues
• Ensure compliance with company maintenance standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
