Aircon Technician

About the role

Riviera Golf Club, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Aircon Technician to join our Facilities and Maintenance team. This is a full-time position based in Silang, Cavite. As an Aircon Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout our golf club facilities. This role is crucial to ensuring optimal climate control across our club premises and maintaining a comfortable environment for our members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems across club facilities
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning system faults and failures
• Perform emergency repairs to restore climate control systems quickly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs and system servicing carried out
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from club staff and members
• Test and certify refrigeration systems to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Order and manage spare parts and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate facility upkeep
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations in the execution of work

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Aircon Technician or HVAC technician, with a track record of successful installations and repairs
• Valid certification or license in air conditioning and refrigeration systems as required by local regulations
• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment and systems
• Proficiency in diagnosing faults using appropriate testing equipment and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights if required
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented approach
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards
• Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance calls when necessary
