Aircon Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC/R systems and possess a strong mechanical knowledge base. This role involves working in a manufacturing facility, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The technician will also engage in technical sales and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Perform maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Conduct hydraulic system repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Provide technical sales support by analyzing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Operate scissor lifts safely to access equipment at various heights.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate system performance.
• Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as part of repair processes.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician with a focus on HVAC/R systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
• Experience in field service roles with a strong emphasis on customer service skills.
• Proficient in using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for analysis purposes.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Military background is a plus but not required; candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and with customers.
