Job Summary

The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and continuous monitoring of HVAC rental equipment at various project sites. This role ensures that all units—ranging from spot coolers to large-scale package units—operate at peak efficiency. You will perform rapid-response repairs, preventive maintenance, and dismantling activities while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and client site protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install and set up air conditioning units at customer sites according toplanned layout and installation designs.
• Perform maintenance and preventive inspections on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity as assigned.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Repair and replace defective components or parts as needed, using hand and power tools and following safety protocols.
• Coordinate with immediate superior to schedule equipment installation, dismantling and mobilization in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain detailed Service Reports and Daily Activity Logs(manual or digital).
• Document "before and after" conditions of equipment
• Assist in the maintenance of the company’s warehouse HVAC systems and office facilities during "down periods" between projects.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and dismantling of equipment and materials for all event projects.
• Provide on-site support based on specific project requirements and operational demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must possess a Vocational Degree / Certificate in DOMRAC with active NC II Certification
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC repair. Experience with industrial chillers, package units, or AHUs is a significant advantage.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional team and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge in computer systems and software applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in HVAC equipment operations.
• Can work on extended hours, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to be assigned in project site outside Metro Manila/Provinces.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
• Proficiency in using manifolds, vacuum pumps, multi-testers, and recovery machines.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Must be willing to travel to provinces and work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 project operations.
