Aircon Technician

Job Summary
Responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and light commercial air conditioning units, including window-type, split-type, and multi-split systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, clean, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning units.
• Perform preventive maintenance, chemical cleaning, pressure washing, and filter cleaning.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues involving compressors, fan motors, control boards, and refrigerant systems.
• Assist with unit mounting, copper piping, wiring, pressure testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct leak detection and refrigerant charging as required.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment such as manifold gauges and basic electrical testing meters.
• Follow proper procedures for refrigerant handling, recovery, chemical use, and workplace safety.
• Complete service reports and service call documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous service during on-site assignments.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, vocational graduate, or holder of a certificate/diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Technology.
• TESDA DomRAC NC II certification is preferred/required, depending on client requirements.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Knowledge of leak detection, copper pipe brazing/soldering, refrigerant charging, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with window-type, split-type, and inverter air conditioning systems.
• Able to work independently or as part of a small technical team.
• Physically capable of performing field and service-related tasks.
• Good attention to detail, cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Pay: Php900.00 per day
