Aircon Technician

About the role

Argold Jobs Inc is seeking an experienced Aircon Technician to join our growing team in Malate, Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work with modern air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning units, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Diagnose technical faults and perform repairs using appropriate tools and equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely
• Test and charge refrigerant systems, ensuring proper levels and compliance with regulations
• Replace worn components such as compressors, fans, filters, and thermostats
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and hours spent on each job
• Provide customers with advice on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule

What we're looking for

• Completed apprenticeship or formal training in air conditioning and refrigeration technology
• Valid certification or license to work with refrigerants and air conditioning systems
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration field
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand and power tools
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety in all work activities
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites
