AIRCON TECHNICIAN (Multi Skilled Technician)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) across designated restaurant branches.

• Attend to and complete maintenance Job Orders (JOs) based on urgency, priority, and established timelines.

• Conduct basic to intermediate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work.

• Maintain and support restaurant equipment such as grillers, microwaves, upright chillers and freezers, air fryers, counter and table-top chillers, exhaust hoods, and fresh-air systems.

• Carry out basic maintenance involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration/chiller, and general facility systems.

• Regularly inspect equipment condition and identify signs of wear, defects, or potential failures before breakdown occurs.

• Help minimize equipment downtime and recurring maintenance issues through timely preventive and corrective action.

• Ensure that all PMS activities, repairs, and Job Orders are properly recorded and updated.

• Coordinate maintenance activities with Store Operations and the Repair & Maintenance Department.

• Determine when a repair requires specialized tools, technical expertise, equipment, or third-party contractors and escalate accordingly.

• Provide maintenance support to different branches under the company's rotational branch maintenance program.

Technical Scope

• Electrical: Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting systems, outlets, switches, breakers, wiring, motors, and other electrical components.
• Mechanical: Conduct basic inspection and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and components.
• Refrigeration/Chiller: Perform temperature and pressure checks, cleaning, gasket inspection, airflow assessment, and basic troubleshooting.
• Plumbing: Handle basic repairs involving water lines, drains, faucets, valves, and leaks within the technician's level of training.
• General Facilities: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs involving doors, fixtures, shelving, and other facility components.

Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS)

Follow the company's 52-Week PMS Plan and prescribed checklist. Responsibilities include inspecting, cleaning, testing, documenting, and reporting equipment conditions, as well as recommending necessary corrective actions.

The MST is expected to proactively identify potential equipment failures and maintenance risks before they result in operational disruption or downtime.

Rotational Branch Requirement

The MST must be willing and capable of providing maintenance support across different restaurant branches and locations. Branch assignments will depend on Job Orders, PMS schedules, urgency, branch requirements, and operational priorities.
