Airfreight Export & Import Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

• Booking & Coordination: Arrange air freight bookings with airlines and carriers, coordinate with overseas partners, and update customers on shipment status.
• Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process essential shipping documents including MAWB/HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and permits.
• Customs & Compliance: Ensure all shipments meet customs regulations, prepare declarations, and manage duties and taxes.
• Shipment Tracking: Monitor cargo movement closely and provide timely updates to all stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues to ensure smooth cargo flow.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with carriers, ground handlers, and overseas agents to manage both inbound and outbound shipments.
• Customer & Contractor Liaison: Coordinate with customers and contractors for cargo collection and delivery, ensuring seamless communication and service.
• Overseas Agent Communication: Maintain effective communication with overseas agents for delivery coordination and operational updates.
• Airline Liaison: Work with airlines as required for booking space, handling AWB requests, and ensuring shipment requirements are met.
• Permit Handling: Manage permit declarations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• AWB Processing: Cut and process Air Waybills accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• Freight forwarding processes & Incoterms.

• Airway bills (MAWB/HAWB) & shipping documentation.

• Customs procedures and regulations.

• Cargo systems (e.g., CargoWise).

• Strong communication & coordination.

• Candidate must possess at least a Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.

• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
