Airport Solutions Lead

Overview

A global technology organization is hiring a Lead Airport Solutions Consultant in Singapore to drive strategic opportunities and technology-led transformation across the aviation and airport sector.

This is a strategic, customer-facing role at the intersection of airport operations, technology innovation, and business development. You will leverage your industry expertise and relationships to uncover market opportunities, introduce innovative ideas, and shape the development of technology products and services that address evolving airport needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business Opportunities: Identify and develop new opportunities for the company's technology products and services by engaging airport operators, understanding their operational challenges, and identifying areas for improvement and transformation.
• Champion Innovation & New Solutions: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the business, identifying unmet market needs and opportunities to enhance existing offerings or develop new technology solutions.
• Build Strategic Relationships: Establish trusted relationships with senior airport stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry partners to understand their strategic priorities and create opportunities for collaboration.
• Shape Product & Solution Development: Translate airport operational requirements and customer feedback into actionable product concepts, working closely with internal technology and product teams to shape commercially relevant solutions.
• Provide Market & Industry Insights: Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, competitor offerings, and market gaps to identify new areas for business growth and product innovation.
• Support Commercial Engagements: Partner with business development and account teams on strategic pursuits, customer presentations, bids, and proposals, providing airport operational expertise and solution recommendations.
• Drive Customer-Led Innovation: Engage airport customers to validate new solution concepts and support pilot projects, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in the aviation or airport industry, with a strong understanding of airport operations and associated technologies.
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities by connecting airport operational challenges with relevant technology products and services.
• Strong commercial awareness, innovative thinking, and the ability to recognize market gaps and propose new solutions.
• Experience engaging senior airport stakeholders, building industry relationships, and influencing strategic discussions.
• Exposure to business development, technology consulting, solution development, or airport transformation initiatives would be advantageous.
• Degree in Aviation, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline.
