Airport Support Technician

About the role

The Field Engineer performs activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals. We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Airport Support Technician to provide on-site technical and operational support for key airport equipment and customer-facing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, maintain, and service computer-related products including desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals
• Provide on-site technical and operational support for key airport equipment and customer-facing technologies
• Perform fault investigation, triaging, and resolution in a deskside support environment
• Meet SLA requirements and ensure client satisfaction in all interactions
• Work in rotational shifts

About you

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a fast-paced or public-facing environment
• Experience in technical support, mechanical maintenance, or troubleshooting of equipment
• Familiarity with kiosk systems, bag-drop technology, or similar automated service devices
• Proven experience in a deskside support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution
• Ability to successfully complete a Police Check and Aus Check requirements needed to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
• Valid Driver's License required
• Preferred prior experience with customer facing roles/duties
• Preferred prior experience in support mechanical maintenance, airport equipment, kiosks, bag-drop
