AISC Operator

Overview:

We are seeking dedicated operators to manage and maintain the operations of the AISC (Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Centre) platform, network, storage, and related software. The primary focus of this role is to participate in the AISC buildup process, including various system, networking, and security components, and ensure the high availability, performance, scalability, and security of the AISC infrastructure and operations. The candidates will help build out the AISC and then stay for long-term operations.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the AISC buildup process, including various system, networking, and security components.
• Manage and maintain the operations of the AISC platform, network, storage, and relevant software by following pre-defined procedures.
• Ensure the infrastructure's high availability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Provide 1st tier support for handling user requests and queries.
• Monitor the AISC platform, network, and storage systems to identify and resolve issues or anomalies.
• Conduct regular system backups and maintain data integrity.
• Perform basic remote hand tasks according to provided work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of technical problems.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in data center operations.
• Competency in written English and Chinese; basic proficiency in spoken English and fluency in spoken Chinese (Cantonese).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Availability to work at Pok Fu Lam and Kowloon Bay.
• Willingness to work on a shift duty rotation basis.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NCA-AIIO) will be considered a plus
