VACANCY: ALARM CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
SIU is looking for an experienced ALARM CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR to join our team.
Recuirements:
- Previous control room experience: Experience working in an alarm monitoring or security room.
- Alarm monitoring: Monitoring alarm signals and responding to alarm activations and emergency incidents.
- Radio communication: Communicating clearly with reaction officers and security personnel over two-way radio.
- Handling emergencies: Knowing how to respond to panic alarms, burglur alarms and other emergency signals.
- Incident reporting: Recording alarm activations, dispatch times, responses and outcome accuratley.
- Telephone skills: Answering calls professionally and obtaining the correct information from clients.
- Working shifts: Willingness to work day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- MUST HAVE ATLEAST 2 YEARS OF ALARM CONTROL ROOM EXPERIENCE.
- PSIRA MUST BE UP TO DATE.
