About the Position

Alpha Alert is looking for a motivated and reliable Alarm Technical Wireman to join our technical team. The successful candidate will assist our technicians with fault finding, repairs, installations and maintenance of various electronic security and access-control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with fault finding and repairs of alarm systems.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of electric fencing systems.
• Assist with CCTV system installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of vehicle tracking units.
• Assist with gate motor and gate-related installations and repairs.
• Perform general technical and wiring duties as required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standard.

Minimum Requirements

• PSIRA Grade C
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in security alarm installation
• Basic knowledge of alarm systems, CCTV, electric fencing and related security technology will be advantageous.
• Must be willing to work in and around Richards Bay and Empangeni.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking and technically minded.
