We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that merchandise is well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products effectively to enhance visibility and encourage sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, promoting upselling opportunities.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering calls or addressing customer inquiries over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
