Responsibilities:

• Taking orders and handling POS transactions
• Delivering warm, genuine customer service
• Serving food and maintaining presentation standards
• Preparing and assembling sandwiches to a high standard
• Maintaining consistency in portioning and presentation
• Managing prep (ingredients, sauces, mise en place)
• Working efficiently during busy service periods
• Keeping the workspace clean, organised and well-stocked
• Supporting the team across service when needed
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory
• Maintain food safety standards
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high volume setting
• Ensure consistent quality & service
• Maintain equipment with care

About you:

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a kitchen, sandwich bar or similar environment

• Works clean, organised and detail-focused

• Proven ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment

• Confident communicator and energetic team player

• Calm under pressure, organised, and detail-oriented

• Genuinely passionate about food, and hospitality in general

• Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position

• Availability to work flexible hours especially on Wednesday and Thursday

• Takes pride in presentation and consistency

• Has a positive attitude and strong team mindset

• Is reliable and punctual
