Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and load & unload heavy materials safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools to ensure accurate order picking, shipping, and receiving.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and storage of goods to optimize warehouse space.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist with order picking using manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and materials handling.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by maintaining organized storage areas and updating inventory records regularly.
• Follow all safety standards in production environments, including OSHA guidelines, to promote a secure working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklift types such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and materials handling procedures.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and basic math skills for inventory counting.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively while maintaining manual handling best practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols.
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or as an order picker is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Pay: $24.46 - $29.45 per hour
