The Role

We are seeking a proactive allocation professional to support inventory distribution, product allocation, replenishment, order planning, and operational reporting. You will help analyze inventory availability, coordinate product movements, monitor allocation requirements, and support efficient distribution across stores, warehouses, customers, or sales channels.

This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and exposure to inventory planning, retail operations, distribution, e-commerce, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support inventory and product allocation activities across stores, warehouses, customers, or distribution channels.
• Review inventory levels, sales data, demand information, stock availability, and allocation requirements.
• Assist with allocating products based on demand, availability, sales performance, priorities, and business requirements.
• Coordinate stock transfers, replenishment requests, product movements, and allocation adjustments.
• Maintain accurate allocation records, inventory trackers, product data, and distribution documentation.
• Monitor stock availability and identify shortages, excess inventory, allocation gaps, or distribution issues.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, warehouse, logistics, merchandising, sales, and operations teams.
• Prepare allocation reports, inventory summaries, stock movement reports, and performance updates.
• Assist with new product launches, seasonal allocations, promotional requirements, and inventory redistribution.
• Investigate allocation discrepancies and coordinate corrections with relevant teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory utilization, product availability, allocation accuracy, and distribution efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Retail Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in inventory allocation, merchandise planning, supply chain, retail operations, logistics, or a related function is preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, stock allocation, replenishment, distribution, and product movement.
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, inventory management, retail, planning, or merchandise systems.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills with the ability to analyze inventory and sales information.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of product and inventory data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical approach to allocation issues.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple allocation priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with strong cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Commercially aware, proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
