Allocation Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Allocator Executive to join PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP Fashion1) in Central Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our retail operations. As an Allocator Executive, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory distribution across our retail network, ensuring stock levels meet customer demand whilst minimizing excess inventory. This role is central to our supply chain planning function and directly impacts our operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

1. Analyse sales data, inventory levels and store performance to determine optimal stock allocation across retail locations
2. Develop and implement allocation strategies that balance customer demand with inventory investment
3. Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust allocations to improve product flow and reduce markdowns
4. Collaborate with merchandising, store operations and supply chain teams to understand product requirements and constraints
5. Prepare regular allocation reports and forecasts to support management decision-making
6. Identify trends and patterns in customer purchasing behaviour to inform future allocation planning
7. Manage and optimise inventory levels to reduce overstock situations whilst preventing stockouts
8. Utilise allocation systems and planning tools to execute distribution strategies efficiently
9. Support seasonal planning and promotional campaigns through strategic inventory allocation

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in retail inventory planning, allocation or distribution planning roles
2. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
3. Solid understanding of retail operations, supply chain management and inventory control principles
4. Proficiency in using allocation software, planning systems and Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
6. Ability to work with large datasets and translate data insights into actionable recommendations
7. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
8. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve allocation challenges
9. Knowledge of fashion retail or FMCG retail environments is advantageous
10. Familiarity with demand forecasting and statistical analysis is preferred
