Alterations Studio Manager

Overview

We are seeking a warm, highly organized Alterations Studio Manager tooversee our in-house bridal atelier and care for brides from their first fitting through to completion of their wedding gown. This role combines exceptional customer service, organization, attention to detail and genuine kindness. Sewing experience is not required, however knowledge of garment construction or bridal alterations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome brides and create a calm, caring fitting experience.
• Coordinate first, follow-up and final fitting appointments.
• Track each dress, its alterations, next steps and completion deadlines.
• Maintain accurate fitting notes and client records.
• Coordinate workflow and priorities with seamstresses, stylists and management.
• Communicate clearly with brides about progress, timelines, and expectations.
• Identify concerns early and follow through on solutions.
• Keep gowns protected and the atelier clean, organized and welcoming.
• Oversea final gown preparation and presentation before pick-up.

Who you are

You are friendly, kind, detail-oriented and calm under pressure. You communicate confidently, manage multiple appointments and deadlines, and take ownership of the details. Experience in bridal, luxury retail, fashion, hospitality, studio management or client service is valued.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
