AM Bartender

Job Summary

As an AM Bartender, you’ll create a welcoming start to guests’ day through attentive service and well-prepared beverages. You’ll take orders, prepare cocktails and other drinks, serve food as needed, and process payments accurately. Bring your hospitality mindset, beverage knowledge, and steady time management to a fast-moving restaurant or bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages using established recipes, applying mixology skills and knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and brewing.
• Welcome guests, provide customer service, recommend menu items, and support sales through thoughtful suggestions.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders; follow food safety and food handling practices.
• Use point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Square POS where applicable, to enter orders and process cash transactions.
• Set up and maintain the bar, manage supplies, and support smooth service during restaurant, banquet, or catering operations. Your impact: Accurate, attentive service helps guests enjoy a seamless meal and helps the service team stay coordinated.

Qualifications

• Bartending, serving, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills; accuracy with retail math is important.
• Food service, restaurant, hospitality, or food industry experience; fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or catering experience is a plus.
• Cocktail experience and knowledge of beverage recipe development, bar management, spirits, wine, craft beer, or brewing are valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems; Square POS experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and time management skills, with the ability to handle food safely and work effectively in a hospitality environment.
