AM - Capex Procurement

Role & responsibilities

• Responsble for CAPEX procurement process including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, techno-commercial negotiations, and contracting.
• Execute procurement strategies to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with project, engineering, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth execution of capital projects.
• Maintain a robust vendor base through supplier identification, evaluation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and governance standards.
• Manage and track procurement budgets, delivery schedules, and project timelines.
• Utilize SAP MM module and ARIBA (or equivalent e-sourcing tools) for procurement workflow, contract management, and vendor onboarding.
• Conduct market intelligence, risk assessment, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure timely generation and approval of PRs, POs, and related documentation through systematic and process-driven practices.
• Prepare and present regular MIS reports, procurement dashboards, and project cost analytics to management.
• Drive process improvements and digital initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency.
